Option trading is a combination of many emotions: excitement, disappointment, satisfaction, anxiety, boredom and exhilaration. I set out to write this site as a way to be interesting and relevant. I also spent some time laying out the potential pitfalls associated with trading options.
Let’s be honest, most of us learn by doing. As one industry professional told us, it is almost impossible not to become a better trader through experience. Sometimes trading smarter means recognizing one’s own limitations when it comes to managing risk or understanding how temperament plays a role in decision making. Other times, it means understanding the mathematics behind the Black-Scholes pricing model. Either way, I hope you will find a way to assimilate the knowledge presented here into your own personal style of trading.
My presentation of this material is short and to the point. I tried to make it accessible and entertaining. I wanted this site to be read like it was coming from your favorite uncle as opposed to a visitor from outer space.
